     Biscuits and Gravy

Ingredients
eight southern style biscuits
three fourths pound of sausage
four cups of milk
four-eight tablespoons of flour
 

Instructions
As a kid, the best thing about visiting my great aunt and uncle was the breakfast. I would wake up at 5am, wake up the rest of the family and wait for my uncle to start cooking. To this day I have never had biscuits and gravy as good as the ones he would make, but whenever I see or have some, I think of him, and those long mornings in Safford.
Prepare biscuits as instructed on package. Brown sausage in skillet. As soon as sausage is completely brown, turn to medium heat.
Add flour by the tablespoon, stirring constantly. Let the flour turn brown before adding another tablespoon
After you have added enough flour to make the gravy as thick as you like, add milk and stir with whisk and serve over biscuits.
