     Mom's Famous French Toast

1 egg
2 egg whites
1/4 cup of milk
1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinamon
8 slices of bread

To prepare it, whisk eggs till its foamy, then add the milk, vanilla, cinamon, and nutmeg. Heat the oven to 200 degrees, then heat butter in a heavy skillet over medium heat. Proceed to dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture, and let them sit on a hot skillet and cook till its nicely browned. I loved waking up on Sunday morning knowing that my mom was cooking her famous french toast. It was like I had a timer in my head to wake up at about 10 o'clock so I could get it fresh. When I'd walk downstairs the smell of the cinamon had flooded the bottom level of our house, and I couldn't wait to sit down at the table and get my serving of mom's famous french toast.
Serving Suggestions
Cook In smaller amounts. If you cook to much at once, the toast will get cold.
