Proceed to dip the slices of bread into the egg mixture, and let them sit on a hot skillet and cook till its nicely browned. I loved waking up on Sunday morning knowing that my mom was cooking her famous french toast. It was like I had a timer in my head to wake up at about 10 o'clock so I could get it fresh.
