     Easy Cream Cheese Danish

Ingredients
2 (5 1/2 oz) pkgs biscuit mix
3 1/2 tbsp sugar
2/3 cup milk
1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted (5 1/3 tbsp)
Cream cheese filling (see recipe below)
Powdered sugar glaze
Cream Cheese Filling
2 (3 oz) pkgs cream cheese3 tbsp sugar
 
1 egg
4 tsp flour
Powdered Sugar Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tbsp warm water
1/4 tsp vanilla

Instructions
Danish- Prepare cream cheese filling. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and sugar. Stir in milk and butter until blended. Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets to form 16 mounds. Make a shallow well in center of each using the back of a spoon. Place 1 heaping tbsp cream cheese filling into each well. Bake at 425 for 12 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool 6 minutes, drizzle glaze. Serve warm
Filling- In a small bowl, combine softened cream cheese and sugar. Beat in egg, then flour. Beat until smooth.
Glaze- Combine and mix well until smooth.
