     Bread Pudding

2lbs bread, cubed
1lb brown sugar
1C diced winesap apples
1/2C cinnamon
1/2C raisins
8 medium eggs
3tsp vanilla
3 pinches salt
1C granulated sugar
1/2 gallon milk
1/4lb margarine
9x13 inch pan

1/2 bread cubes in pan. sprinkls with 1/2 the brown sugar, then 1/2 the apples, 1/2 the raisins, 1/2 the cinnamon (repeat 2nd layer the same)
Double boiler, bring milk almost to boil. In a bowl mix vanilla, salt, margarine, eggs and sugar. Add mixture to hot milk, mix well. Pour mixture over layerd bread bubes. Press down until all bread cubes are soaked
Place pan in water bath. 275-degree oven for 2 hours (or until toothpick comes out clean). Let cool until firm. ENJOY
