     Marks Sticky Toffee Recipe

Ingredients
300g brown sugar
200g butter
2 eggs
500g plain flour
30g baking powder
200ml water
200ml orange juice
300g dates
20g bicarb
 

Instructions
bring dates water and juice to boil
cream sugar and butter. add eggs one at a time. sift flour and baking powder and add to butter mix.
add bicarb to date mix. add date mix to dough.
bake at 170 degrees for 30mins
