Ingredients
1 lg (51oz) can of chopped clams from Costco

Dash of garlic powder
1/2 t. thyme

1/2 t. Nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
1-2 T parsley

Instructions
Drain juice from clams into a kettle and simmer very gently cut up potatoes in juice until tender. Watch and cook carefully as it scorches easily.
Brown and chop up bacon and then without draining, saute celery and onion; add spices; add flour working into a paste form like making gravy. Put this into the crockpot.
Add milk slowly to Crockpot. Put on low setting. When mixture thickens, add the potatoes and with juice and clams.
