     All Butter Flaky Pie Crust

Ingredients
2 1/2 cup flour
1 tsp salt
2 sticks very cold unsalted butter (or omit salt)
1 cup measuring cup filled with ice cubes and water.
 

Instructions
Mix dry ingredients together. Cut butter into chunks then cut into flour with pastry knife until the size of peas. Drizzle 1/2 cup of ice water (no cubes) over the dough. Mix dough only adding more ice water 1 Tablespoon at a time until dough forms ball that can be kneaded.
Turn dough onto floured surface. Knead gently to get dough to hold together. Divide dough in half and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least one hour. Roll out dough on floured surface.
Can be refrigerated one week or frozen up to a month.
