     Cheeseburger Soup

Ingredients
3 cups water
3 cup cubed and peeled potatoes
2 small carrots
1 small onion
1/4 cup green pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
2 beef bullion cubes
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 lb hamburger browned and drained
 
2 1/2 cups milk- divided
5 Tbs flour
1 1/2 lb Velveta Cheese cubed
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper- optional
1/2 lb sliced bacon cooked and crumbled

Instructions
In large sauce pan, combine the first 8 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15-20 min until potatoes are tender.
Stir in beef and 2 cups of milk. Heat through.
Combine flour and remaining milk until smooth; gradually stir into soup. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened and bubbly.
Reduce heat; stir in cheese until melted and add cayenne pepper if desired. Add bacon.
