Ingredients
100g (4oz) margarine
50g(2oz) demerara sugar
2x15ml spoons (2tbsp) golden syrup
125g(5oz)porridge oats
25g (1oz) plain flour
 

Instructions
melt fat suagr and syrup over low heat,stirring until dissolved,remove from heat
Miz in porridge oats and flour.line tray with grease proof paper ,20.5cm shallow square tin
Bake for 15-20 minutes at 180c gas mark 4 until golden brown .cut into bars
leave to cool
