1 cup onions- chopped
3/4 cup chopped carrots
3/4 cup water
1/2 cup Barley
1 1/2 teas. instant chicken bouillion granules
1/2 teas. poultry seasoning
1 garlic clove, minced
4 chicken thighs, skinned (1 1/2 lbs. total)
2 Tbs. fresh snipped parsley

in a medium saucepan combine onion, poultry seasoning, and garlic. Heat mixture to boiling-
Pour hot mixture into a 1 1/2 qt. dish, arrange chicken thighs atop mixture-
bake uncovered in a 350 degree oven for 1 hr. or until barley and chicken are tender. Sprinkle wilth parsley
