In a crockpot, place meat, onions, golden mushroom soup, worcestershire sauce and 1/4 c. of broth. Cook on low 5 hours. Now,in a bowl, whisk the other 1/4 c. of beef broth with cornstarch until combined and pour into crockpot. Let cook at high heat ten minutes then turn crockpot to Keep Warm setting. Now get mushrooms ready.
