pizza crust (refrigerated tube, homemade or prebaked)
1 container basil pesto
1/2 pound raw peeled and deveined shrimp
1 tblsp. butter
2 lemons juiced and zested
1 tblsp. minced garlic
1 can artichokes chopped into bite size pieces
1 cup Italian pizza style cheese
1/2 c black olives sliced-optional
1/2 cup peperoncini sliced- optional
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes-optional
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. If crust is not pre-baked, bake in oven for 5 minutes. While baking heat butter in skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic, lemon juice and shrimp. Cook only until ingredients are combined (2 minutes). Remove from heat.
Spread basil pesto over crust, top with shrimp, artichokes, optional toppings, Italian cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with fresh parsley and freshly grated parmesan.
