     Banana Bread

Category   Desserts - Breads
Sub Category   None
Preptime   15 min

Ingredients
4 ripe bananas, smashed
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
1(1/2) cups of all-purpose flour (can easily split between whole wheat and white flour)
1/2 cup oats (Optional)

1/2 cup chocolate chips (or raisins and/or nuts) (Optional)
Can also add flax seeds

Instructions
No need for a mixer. Preheat oven to 350F. With a wooden spoon, mix butter into smashed bananas in a large mixing bowl. Mix the sugar, egg, and vanilla. Sprinkle the baking soda and salt over the mixture and mix. Add chocolate chips or raisins at this point (if applicable).
Add the flour last, mix. Pour mixture into a buttered loaf pan.
Bake for 45-55 minutes (Depends on the oven, try not to over cook. To test- insert a knife in the bread, if knife comes out clean the bread is ready, don't confuse melted chocolate with raw dough) ;)
Remove from oven, may wait to cool and ENJOY!
