Ingredients
1 1/2 lb ground beef
1 1/2 lb ground pork
4 thick slices bread, crust removed
1 C milk
1 onion chopped
2 garlic cloves smashed
2 tbsp chopped flat leaf parsley
1 egg
1/2 C parmesan cheese
 

Instructions
Saute onion, garlic & parsley in 3 tbsp oil over medium heat about 10 minutes. Let cool. Pour milk over bread, in flat pan, to soak.
Combine meats in bowl, add egg, cheese and season with salt & pepper. Squeeze excess milk out of bread & add to bowl with cooled onion mixture. Gently combine ingredients (don't overwork, causes tough meatballs)
Preheat oven to 350. Brown meatballs on all sides in frying pan. Put meatballs in baking dish, cover with tomato sauce, and sprinkle mozzarella cheese(can just sprinkle parmesan). Bake for 15-20 minutes.
Serving Suggestions
Serve with pasta, or make meatball parmagiana sandwiches
