     Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
2 sticks margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup water
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups uncooked oats
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
 
1 cup raisens
1 cup walnuts
Instructions
Cream shortening. Add sugars, egg and vanilla until creamy. Add oats and 1/4 cup water and flour.
Flatten on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 325 degrees for 12 to 15 mins. Cool on rack.
