1 1/2 cups oatmeal

3/4 cup milk, 1 % lowfat

2 eggs

1 pound ground beef

1 pound pork sausage

1/4 cup onion, chopped

1/4 cup celery, chopped

1 1/2 tsp salt

| |
1/2 tsp poultry seasonings

1/8 tsp pepper
|
| |
1/4 cup catsup
|
| |
2 Tbsp corn syrup
|
| |
1 Tbsp Worchesershire sauce

Instructions |

Soak oatmeal in milk. Add eggs; beat with rotary beater. Add ground beef, pork sausage, onion, celery, Worcestershire sauce, salt, poultry seasoning, and pepper.

Mix thoroughly. Form into 2 loaves or spread out and place in 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour.

|
For glaze, combine catchup and corn syrup and spread over meat loaves. Bake additional 15 minutes.
|
|
|
|
if spreading in pan, will take a shorter time to bake.
