     Baked French Toast

Nonstick Cooking Spray
1 slightly beaten egg
1 slightly beaten egg white
3/4 cup skim milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 1/2-inch-thick slices French Bread
Orange Syrup
Orange slices (optional)
Strawberries (optional)

Spray a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. In a shallow bowl, combine the whole egg, egg white, milk and vanilla.
Dip bread slices in egg mixture just long enough to coat both sides. Place slices on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in a 450 degree oven about 6 minutes or till bread is lightly browned. Turn bread over and bake 5-8 minutes more or till golden brown.
Serve toast with warm Orange Syrup. If desired, garnish with orange slices and strawberries.
