     Pasta Roma Soup

Ingredients
32 oz garbanzo beans, drained
6 slices cooked bacon
1/3 c olive oil
3/4 c onion diced
1/4 tsp garlic minced
1 c celery diced
1 c carrots diced
1 1/2 c canned tomatoes, drained and chopped
1 qt chicken broth
 
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/8 tsp ground rosemary
1/2 c miniture bow tie pasta (any small pasta) cooked

Instructions
place beans in food processor and pulse till well mashed, scraping sides as needed.
Heat oil in large pot and add carrots, onion, celery and garlic, saute 5 minutes. add the rest of ingredients except pasta, bring to boil.
Reduce heat to simmer for 20 minutes, add pasta just before serving, enjoy!!
Serving Suggestions
Top w/grated parmesan cheese and crusty bread on the side!!
