1 cup salad oil

3 eggs

2 cups sugar

1 t. vanilla

2 cups flour

1 t. soda

1 t. cinnamon

3 cups fresh apples, peeled and sliced

1 cup chopped pecans
|

Icing
|
|
3 T. soft margarine
|
|
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
|

1 t. vanilla
|

6 oz. cream cheese
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|

Instructions |

|
Beat until frothy- 1 cup salad oil, 3 eggs, 2 cups sugar and 1 t. vanilla
|
|
|
Add- 2 cups flour, 1 t. soda and 1 t. cinnamon and mix well.
|

|
Then beat in- 3 cups fresh apples, peeled and slices, 1 cup chopped pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
|
|
|
Icing- Blend 3 T. soft margarine, 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 1 t. vanilla and 6 oz. cream cheese (softened).
Spread on warm cake.
