1 lb. ground beef
26 oz. pasta sauce (1.5 jars)
cup onion, finely chopped
2.5 cups small curd cottage cheese or ricotta
1 lb. shredded mozzarella
2 eggs
cup Parmesan cheese
tsp. garlic salt
tsp. pepper
12 lasagna noodles
cup water

Brown ground beef and onion in large skillet over medium heat. Drain grease and add pasta sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes.
In large bowl, mix together cottage cheese/ricotta, 2.5 cups mozzarella cheese, eggs, 1/2 the Parmesan, garlic salt and pepper.
In greased 9x13 pan, spread a thin layer of sauce mixture. Cover with 3 noodles, layer of cheese mixture, layer of sauce. Repeat layers twice. Top with three noodles, remaining sauce, and extra mozzarella and Parmesan.
Add 1/2 cup water to edges of pan. Cover with foil. Cook covered at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes, and then uncovered for 10 minutes.
