     Swiss Steak and Potatoes

Ingredients
1 (14 1/2 oz) can stewed, sliced tomatoes, undrained
1 (12 oz) jar fat-free, beef-flavored, gravy
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
1 (1 lb) bag fresh mini carrots
2 medium onions, quartered
1 lb eye of round beef steaks, cut to 1/2- inch thickness
4 medium potatoes, washed
 

Instructions
Spray slow cooker with nonfat cooking spray. In the cooker stir the stewed tomatoes, gravy, thyme, carrots and onions together until well mixed.
Place the meat into the mixture, making sure it is completely covered with the sauce. Place the Potatoes on top.
Cover and cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours.
Is completely cooked after the documented time; however, the meal can remain in the slow cooker for up to 1 hour longer without burning.
Serving Suggestions
