Put oil in large saute pan. Saute onion until translucent. Add chopped cilantro and saute a minute more.

Add the rice, cooking until it is light brown- be very careful not to burn.
|

|
Combine the chicken broth and sugar, letting the sugar disolve. Then stir into rice, and bring to a boil.
|
|
|
Turn to low/med-low heat, cover and cook 30 minutes. Fluff with fork before serving. Rice should taste sweet!
