     White Chocolate Macaroon Cookies

Ingredients
1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 cup flaked coconut
1 cup white vanilla baking chips
1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
1/2 cup white vanilla baking chips
1 tablespoon shorteneing
 

Instructions
Heat Oven to 350 degrees. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove rom cookie sheet to wire rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes
In large bowl, stil all ingredients except 1/2 cup chips and the shortening until dough forms. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet
In small microwavable bowl, melt 1/2 cup chips and the shortening on high 30 to 60 seconds, stirring every 15 seconds, until melted. Drizzle over cookies.
