CAKE- melt 1/3 cup of the chocolate chips. Set
aside. Cream butter. Add sugar and eggs. Add
cooled chocolate that was set aside along with the
vanilla, baking soda, and salt. Add the flour
alternating with the buttermilk.
In separate small bowl, combine cracker crumbs,
melted butter, nuts, and 2/3 cup chocolate chips.
Pour equal amounts of the batter into 2 greased
and floured 9in cake pans. Sprinkle the crumb and
chocolate dry mixture over the top of the batter
in both pans. Bake at 375 degree for 30-40 min.
