     Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients
MIDDLE LAYER
4 tbs (1/2 stick) butter or margarine
6 oz cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 tbs flour
1 tsp vanilla
TOP and BOTTOM LAYER
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
 
2 tsp vanilla
4 eggs
12 tbs unsweetened cocoa
1 cup flour
dash salt
FROSTING
1/2 cup margarine; 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/3 cup buttermilk
2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
MIDDLE LAYER- combine butter, cream cheese, sugar, eggs, flour, and vanilla. Set aside.
TOP AND BOTTOM LAYER- combine butter, sugar, vanilla, and then add eggs, cocoa, flour, and salt. Spread 1/2 of brownie batter in bottom of greased 9x13 pan. Spread cream cheese over bottom chocolate layer. Add remaining chocolate batter and marbelize using a spatula. Bake at 325 for 33- 35 minutes.
Frosting- if desired, add frosting (not needed).
