Wash raisins in hot water and drain. Cream shortening with sugar then add eggs& milk. Combine oatmeal & raisins mix well. Add remaining ingredients beat throughly. Drop spoonful of cookie dough onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350 oven 12 minutes. Yields 3 dz
