     Vanilla Butter Nut Pound Cake

Ingredients
3 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 sticks margerine
5 large eggs
1/4 tsp salt
1 small can evaporated milk
add enough water to milk to form 1 cup
3 cups flour
2 tablespoon of vanilla
 

Instructions
Cream shortening, sugar, & salt. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour & milk ending with flour. Fold in vanilla. Bake in greased loaf pan 1 hour 45 min at 325. Place in cold oven, do not open door during cooking, remove from pan immediately. Allow to cool, slice and serve.
