Mix mince, onion, egg, bread crumbs and garlic in a bowl. Add additional flavourings as required. Cook in hot pan until browned.
Serving Suggestions-
Italian- When meatballs are browned, add 1 diced onion and 1/2 diced capsicum to the pan. Cook, 2 mins. Add 1 tin tomatoes, 2 Tblsp Tomato paste, 1 tsp garlic and cook until sauce thickens. Serve with Pasta & top with cheese.
Asian Meatballs- When meatballs are browned, add 3 Tblsp seasame seeds to pan and toast until brown. Add thick soy sauce and a little water to coat meatballs. Add bok choy, wombok and/or sweet corn and serve with rice or noodle.
Aussie Meatballs- When meatballs are browned, reduce heat to medium. Add 2 sliced onions to the pan, and cook for 5 mins until soft. Add 3 Tblsp Gravox and 1 cup of water (1/4 cup red wine is optional). Stir until thickened. Serve with veges.
