Combine and saute in 1/2 cup bacon grease; onions, celery and green pepper.

For sauce combine 1 large can of tomato sauce and 1 cup ketchup.
|

|
Core cabbage and place in boiling water to cover. With fork in one hand and knife in the other keep cutting off leaves as they become wilted. Drain. Trim thick center vein from each cabbage leaf and cool.

Add sauteed onion, celery and green pepper and mix all remaining ingredients with meat and cooked rice. Place 1/2 cup mixture on leaf and fold or roll as desired. Place in roaster and add tomato sauce and ketchup plus enough water to cover rolls. Put in 325 oven and bake one hour or until done.

Optional - sauce may be thickened with flour until desired consistency.
