Ingredients
1 lb butter
3/4 cup fruit sugar (-1 cup for dipping the cookies)
6-8 oz slivered almonds
4 cups flour (-1 for flouring the board)
 

Instructions
Cream the butter and sugar together. Beat in the almonds and gradually add the flour.
Roll the dough out on a floured board. The dough should be half to one cm thick. Cut into crescent shapes with a small glass.
Don't grease cookie sheet. Bake at 300 DegreeC until just golden. Let cool and roll in superfine sugar to cover.
