separate eggs- allow yolks & whites stand @ room temperature for 30 mins. Grease jelly pan (line with wax paper first). Pre heat oven to 375.

Stir together flour, cocoa, and baking soda. Beat yoks & vanilla on high for 5 mins (should be thick & lemon colored). Add the 1/3 cup sugar beating to appears dissolved.

In another bowl, beat egg whites until soft peaks. Add 1/2 cup sugar beating until stiff peaks forms. Add yolk mixture to egg whites.

|
Fold yolk mixture into egg whites. Fold flour mixture into egg mixture. Spread in pan. Bake 12-15 mins. Immediately out of oven- loosen edges of cake and turn cake on a towel thats very sprinkled with powdered sugar. Slowly roll & refrigerate for one hour. Unroll & fill. Then cover with hard shell chocolate.
