     Pretzel Salad

Ingredients
2 cups crushed pretzels
1 ¼ cup sugar
¾ cup melted butter
2 10oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, mostly thawed
1 large pkg strawberry jello
1 8oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 8oz. ctn. Cool Whip
 

Instructions
Mix together 4 tablespoons sugar, pretzels and butter. Spread in 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 6 minutes. Cool. Cream together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar, add Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust and refrigerate. Dissolve Jello in 2 cups boiling water, add strawberries and chill until almost congealed. Spread on top of cream cheese mixture. Serves 12.
