     New England Clam Chowder

Ingredients
2-3 slices bacon, cooked crisp
1/2 cup onion, sauteed in bacon grease
6-7 potatoes diced and sauteed with onions until brown
1 can minced clams with juice
1 can evaporated milk
 

Instructions
Cover with water, cook on medium until potatoes are tender
Add clams and milk, best if it sits awhile.
