Ingredients
1/2 stick butter
Brown Sugar
Cinnamon
Pecans
Powder Sugar
Milk
4 - 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
 
1 package active dried yeast
1 cup milk
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup butter
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs

Instructions
TO MAKE DOUGH- In a large mixing bowl, combine two cups of flour and the yeast; set aside. In a small saucepan heat and stir milk, sugar, 1/3 cup of butter, and the salt until warm and butter almost melts; add to flour mixture along with eggs. Beat with an electric mixer on low to medium for 30 minutes, scraping bowl. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes. Using a wooden spoon, stir in as much of the remaining 2 - 2 1/2 cups remaining flour as you can.
Turn dough onto a floured surface. Knead in enough remaining flour to make a moderately soft dough that is smooth and elastic (3 - 5 minutes total). Shape dough into a ball. Place dough in a lightly greased bowl, turning once to grease surface of dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double in size (1 - 1 1/2 hours).
Punch dough down. Turn onto a lightly floured surface. Divide in half and cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
