     Italian Beef and Pasta Bake

Ingredients
3 cups whole what penne
1 pound ground lean beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
28 oz. can diced tomatoes
2 teaspoons oregano
1 teaspoon basil
¾ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
 
1 cup part skim ricotta cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 inch baking pan. Cook penne. Cook beef, onion and garlic. Stir in tomatoes and spices, simmer about 15 minutes. Stir beef, ricotta, and ½ cup mozzarella into penne. Put in baking dish. Sprinkle with the rest of mozzarella. Bake about 25 minutes.
