Remove skin from Eggplant and cut into 1/2 in thick pieces, yielding about 5 cups.
In a buttered dish, place in layers; cooked Meat, Onions, Tomatoes and Cheese. Reserve 1/4 cup of cheese for top.
Top with Bread Crumbs mixed with remaining Cheese and dot with remaining Butter.
Bake for 35 minutes.
