     Carolans Brownies

Ingredients
Brownies-
2 oz. Baker's unsweetened chocolate
1 stick butter
1 C. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 C. flour, sifted
2 t. vanilla extract
1 C. chopped pecans
1/4 C. Carolans Irish Cream
 
Frosting-
2 C. whipping cream
1 lb. semisweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 C. Carolans Irish Cream

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a shallow 9x9 cake pan. In a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter with sugar.
Pour gradually onto well-beaten eggs, beating after each addition. Add flour, vanilla, and Irish Cream, mixing well.
Spread into pan and sprinkle top with nuts. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool, spread frosting on top, cut into squares.
