     Beer can Chicken

Ingredients
5-7 pound chicken
1 can of light beer (pour out 1/3 of the can)
Dry Rub (Old Bay Seasoning and Original Mrs. Dash)
Emeril's Essence if you prefer
Some oil to rub on the chicken
Combine the following ingredients and blend well.
 
5 tbsp. sweet paprika
4 tbsp. salt
4 tbsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. black pepper
2 tbsp. onion powder
2 tbsp. dried oregano
2 tbsp dried thyme
salt and pepper

Instructions
Clean chicken, and use oil on the outside.Use the dry mixture in the chicken and out side of the chicken.And use Salt and Pepper. Put extra holes in the beer can.. set the chicken on the beer can on an oven safe plaet (so it will set up straight.. and won't fall over.
Cook 300 degree for 1 hour and 10 mins... then cook 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 mins..baste the second hour... Let rest 15-20 mins.. remove chicken... take out beer can.. should be crispy and the beer makes it cook from the inside... it will be the best CHICKEN you ever had
