     Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients
2 C Brown Sugar
1 C Shortening, scant
2 Eggs
2 C Oatmeal
1 C Pecans
2 C Flour
1 tsp Soda
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla
 
Instructions
Cream Sugar and Shortening. Add Eggs. Sift all dry ingredients adding Oatmeal last. Bake 350 degrees for 8 minutes.
