     Southwestern Chicken Braid

Ingredients
2 C Cooked Chicken (Chopped)
1 Can Rotel Tomatoes (Drained)
1-1/2 tsp Southwestern Seasoning
1 Sm Can Black Olives, Sliced (Drained)
1-2 C Cheese, grated (Cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a Combo)
1 Garlic Clove (Pressed)
2 Packages Refrigerated Crescent Rolls
 

Instructions
Unroll, 2 Packages Refrigerated Crescent Rolls-Large Size do not separate. Arrange longest sides of dough across 12 x 15 rectangle pan. Repeat. Roll dough to seal perforations. On longest side of pan, cut slits in dough 1- ½ inches apart, 3 inches deep (there will be 6 inches in the center used for the filling.) Spread filling evenly over middle of dough. To braid, lift strips of dough across mixture to meet in center, twisting each strip one turn. Continue alternating strips to form a braid. Brush egg white over dough. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
