     Stuffed French Toast

Ingredients
Thick toast (Texas Toast or have whole bread sliced thick at bakery)
1 pgk cream cheese
1 c chopped almonds
1 c strawberry preserves or your favorite flavor
2 eggs
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp almond flavoring
 

Instructions
Slice a 1 inch slit into thickest part of toast either top or botton. Set aside. Mix cream cheese, chopped almonds and jelly together. Use a small spoon and fill slit of toast with cream cheese mixture.
Beat eggs, add cinnamon and almond flavoring. Dip stuffed toast in egg mixture. Place on buttered or pam sprayed pan. Cook on medium for 5 minutes flip and continue cooking other side until done.
