Sift flour and add butter mix as for pice crust with a dough cutter, add slightl ybeaten eggs yoks, milk and yeast mixture. Blend and mix until it pulls from side of bowl. I use my hands. Put on flour board and knead well than I let rest about 15 to 30 min.
Divide dough into 3 pieces. Roll out first piece between wax paper. Place one piece in pan, use a large jelly roll pan. Spread nut mixtre on top saving 1/4 cup for topping.
Roll second piece and put on top of nut mixture
Put fruit filling on top, 3 jars or 1 bag is enough, but sometimes I make two flavers so I will spread 1 bag on each side, this just makes a thicker torte.
Roll 3rd piece, lay on top prick with with fork.
bake at 350 for about 45 min
Make Icing, Cream crisco, butter and sugar, cream well add beaten egg white. beat in scalded milk little at a time, add vanilla
frost cooled cake. sprinkle nuts on top
store torte in a cool place or fridge.
