     Peppermint Nighty-Nights

Ingredients
2 egg whites
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. crushed peppermint candies
1-2 drops red food coloring
 
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Add sugar slowly until stiff and glossy. Add food coloring and crushed candy.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on foil covered cookie sheets.
Place in preheated oven. Turn the oven off and leave in overnight. DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN DOOR.
