     Apple Nut Ring

Ingredients
2 pkgs. (8 oz. each) refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
3/4 cup sugar
1 Tablespoon cinnamon
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 med. granny smith apples
1/3 cup chopped nuts
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Separate biscuits into 20 pieces. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Dip biscuits into melted butter, then roll in sugar mixture. Arrange biscuits in a single layer in deep dish pie pan.
Peel, core and slice apples into thin slices. Place an apple slice between each biscuit and around outer edge of pan.
Mix nuts with remaining sugar mixture and sprinkle over top. Bake for 25-30 mins. or until golden brown.
