     Rum Cake

Ingredients
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped pecans
1 package instant pudding mix Vanilla
4 eggs beaten
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup dark rum
Glaze-
1 stick butter
 
1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup dark rum

Instructions
Put cake mix, pudding mix, beaten eggs, water, oil and rum in a mixing bowl and mix well. Grease and flour a tube pan. Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan. Pour cake mixture in prepared tube pan.
Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour.
Glaze- Mix all ingredients in a small pan and boil glaze for 5 minutes. Let cake cool in pan for 10 minutes or so, remove from pan and place on rack or plate. Pour glaze over warm cake.
