     Mexican Bean Soup

Ingredients
1 Pound Ground Beef
1 Medium Onion, Chopped
2 Cups water
2 (14.5 oz) Cans Diced Tomatoes, Undrained
1 (14.5 oz) Can Hominy, Drained
1 (14.5 oz.) Can Ranch Style Beans
1 (14oz.) Kidney Beans
1 (4oz) Can Green Chilies, Chop
1 Envelope Taco Seasoning
 
1 Envelope Ranch Dressing Mix
1 Tblsp Brown Sugar
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper

Instructions
In a large soup kettle, cook beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned. Add water, tomatoes, hominy, beans, chilies, seasoning mix, ranch dressing mix, sugar, and cayenne pepper. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with cheese and sour cream.
