Cheese Pretzel Sandwich

Category   Appetizers
Sub Category   Kids
Servings   6

Ingredients
-
1 package (6 pretzel size) frozen baked soft pretzels, thawed
-
6 slices American cheese

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Using a serrated knife, cut each pretzel horizontally in half. Place the halves back together and place on a large baking sheet. Bake for 1 to 2 minutes, until warmed through.
Remove from the oven and immediately place a slice of cheese between each pair of pretzel halves. The warmth of the pretzel will melt the cheese and hold the pretzel together. Serve, or wrap individually and chill, then serve as is or rewarm.
Serving Suggestions
Note: For kids who like mustard on their pretzels, squeeze some yellow mustard onto the bottom pretzel halves before adding the cheese
