     HEARTY HASH BROWN SOUP

Ingredients
2 pounds shredded hash brown potatoes
4 Cups water
1 large Onion
3/4 Cup sliced celery
4 Cubes chicken bouillon
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/4 tsp. pepper
4 cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 quart milk
 
2 cups cubed cooked ham
1 TBS dried parsley flakes
1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
8 slioces bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)

Instructions
In kettle combine first 7 ingredients, bring to boil. Reduce heat cover and simmer for 20 min. Mash vegetables with cooking liquid. Add soup and milk, stir until smooth. Add ham parsley and garlic salt. Simmer for 10 min. or until heated through. Garnish with bacon.
you can also add broccoli for a different taste
