Place potatoes, carrots, celery & onion in large
kettle, cover with water & cook until tender.
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl combine cream cheese,
butter and soup. Stir well. Add milk, salt, pepper &
bacon.
Add mixture to vegetables & heat through.
For a thicker soup, I drain most liquid from
vegetables before adding cream cheese mixture. I
melt the butter and add softened cream cheese - it's
easier to work with.
