     Pecan Pie

Ingredients
Pie pastry - 9 inch
butter - 1/3 cup
Brown Sugar - 3/4 cup
3 eggs
Corn syrup - 1 cup
Pecans - 1 cup, chopped
Salt - 1/8 tsp
Vanilla - 1 tsp
Raisins - 1/3 cup (optional)
 

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare pie pastry. In a large bowl cream butter until light and fluffy. Gradually add brown sugar. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add corn syrup, pecans, salt, and vanilla. Stir until well blended. Add raisins. Pour into pastry.
Bake 40 to 50 minutes. Cook until toothpick comes out clean. Center should not shake.
